Programmes designed to create lasting impact
Creating measurable social impact for individuals, communities and wider systems
At Duchy Collective CIC, we believe wellbeing thrives when people feel connected—to themselves, to others, and to the natural world around them. Rooted in Cornwall’s landscapes and communities, we bring people together through movement, nature, and shared experiences, creating inclusive opportunities for everyone to feel supported, valued, and part of something positive.

Our programmes break down barriers to participation, offering welcoming, accessible activities for individuals who may feel isolated, overlooked, or in need of a fresh start. Whether it’s a pop-up workshop, a gentle movement session, or a nature-based project, everything we do is designed to build confidence, resilience, and a genuine sense of belonging across Cornwall.
Our Values
At Duchy Collective CIC, our work is guided by strong values that underpin everything we design and deliver.

Inclusion & Accessibility
We believe wellbeing support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, ability, income or location. Our activities are designed to remove barriers to participation, particularly for people living in rural areas or experiencing isolation, poor mental health or low confidence.

Community Connection
We place people and relationships at the heart of our work. By creating welcoming, safe and non-judgemental spaces, we help individuals build meaningful connections, reduce loneliness and strengthen local community networks.

Prevention & Early Intervention
We focus on prevention rather than crisis response. Our programmes support people before challenges escalate, helping to reduce pressure on health and social care services by promoting resilience, self-management and wellbeing.

Nature-Based Wellbeing
We value Cornwall’s natural environment as a powerful asset for health. By using outdoor and nature-based approaches, we support mental and physical wellbeing while encouraging connection to place and environmental appreciation.

Dignity, Trust & Empowerment
We meet people where they are. We prioritise dignity, trust and choice, empowering individuals to build confidence, independence and a sense of purpose at their own pace.
Meet The Team

Marie Griffiths
Duchy Collective CIC was founded by Marie Griffiths, whose journey brings authenticity, compassion and lived experience to everything we do.

After a long career in Logistics and Operations for well known UK brands, following redundancy, Marie chose to follow her heart and passion for helping others. A big advocate for physical & mental wellbeing, she believes that movement, nature and human connection can be powerful tools for change.

She understands first-hand the importance of supportive communities, accessible exercise and being outdoors in nature. This insight ensures Duchy Collective’s work is grounded in empathy, understanding and real-life impact.
